The Portland Arms is a truly traditional Fullers English Pub. The Pub serves fantastic real ales and delicious home-cooked freshly prepared meals. We are located only a few minutes stroll from St Albans city centre and Verulanium Park. Between 20th June & 4th July its French Festival Fortnight - in addition to our main menu we will be showing off the talents of our Michelin trained French Chef by creating a French Themed menu for the fortnight. Please see the Food & Drink page for details. french menu

We are happy to take bookings for all occasions, i.e. christenings, birthdays, and to cater for your special needs, including buffets. Bookings are now being taken for Fathers Day - Fathers Day Menu

We also do take away fish & chips for £6.50 tuesday to saturdays. Pop in or phone in your order.
